TURNS OUT MY GG GRANDFATHER FOUGHT IN THE BATTLE AT SHILOH ..AND DIED ON APRIL 8 1862......
HE WAS A FARMER WHO HAD ALOT OF LAND IN INDIANA.....
HE WAS MARRIED TO LUCINDA BENNET I THINK ...

ANY ONE HAVE MORE INFO ???

Hello,
The Goodrich Family Association does have additional information on your Ralph Goodrich, including some source verifications of his marriage to Lucinda Bennett, Civil War records stating he enlisted as a Private on 22 Nov. 1861 in Company B, 44th Infantry Regiment, died from wounds on 9 April 1862 at Shiloh, TN, the 1850 Federal Census with 3 of his 5 children named, and 40 acres he bought in 1820.
