Harry Goodrich and Arminta Seeley

The entry for Harry Goodrich and Arminta Seeley says that Harry was killed in battle in May 1862 at Williamsburg, Virginia, at age 52, and the footnote gives this reference:   
The Goodrich Family in America, page 250.  Someone might like to know that Harry is listed with Arminta in the 1880 census, Walton, Delaware Co. NY as 71 years old.  Next door is their son Harvey B Goodrich with his family. Maybe the one killed in Virginia was another Harry.  Arminta is a sister of my gg grandfather Smith White Seely

Thank you for posting this correction to the Case book death date of Harry Goodrich, this is one of the reasons we are compiling an updated Goodrich Family genealogy with corrections.

The Goodrich Family Association private collection includes a photograph of side by side  tombstones from the Walton, N. Y. Village Cemetery of
"Harry Goodrich/born/Sept. 3, 1808/Died/Apr. 22, 1888"
"Araminta/wife of/Harry Goodrich/Born/Oct. 18, 1810/Died/Apr. 10, 1884"
 
The Walton Chronicle carried a 26? Apr. 1888 obit for Harry Goodrich.
Our notes on the family say that in the 1880 Federal census Arminta Deborah Seeley Goodrich, age 70, was disabled and bedridden.
