Sally Friend m. Samuel Goodrich

I believe I have some relevent info regarding the parents of Sally Friend.  She married Samuel Goodrich (they are shown in your family tree).  She was born in Branford, CT. on July 4, 1782.  She was the daughter of George Friend originally of Norwak, CT and Mary Lamfier of Branford.  She had a sister named "Polle" born in Branford in 1784.  George Friend died on April 23, 1786 "in the 40th year of his age."  I believe George is somehow related to me and I have been trying to research him along with a John Friend of Norwalk, CT who served in the Rev. War.  This information came from the Barbour Collection.  This is how I happened upon the Goodrich folks!  I am not sure if this info will be important to you but thought I'd let you know.  Also, this John Friend eventually wound up in NY in 1790.  That is where my direct family is from.  In 1796 he was a ship caulker in NY on Lombard Street.  I know that Samuel Goodrich was in shipbuilding and I thought perhaps he may have learned his trade by working with the Goodrich shipbuilding company since Sally Friend was married to Samuel Goodrich and he was in shipbuilding.

We are happy to receive your information regarding Sally Friend, wife of Samuel Goodrich, LWC3839, page 351-52 in the Goodrich Family in America 1889 book edited by Case. This information makes a wonderful addition to our new Goodrich Family Genealogy, which we are currently compiling.  There has not been a new one since the Case book in 1889.  We plan two big additions to our compilation that the Case book lacks: we are including the female information, children and grandchildren, and the compilation is being sourced.

I note we have very little on Sally's Samuel and their children.  Are you able to add more information to the listing, and perhaps another generation or two of children?  Any additional information you can contribute about the family, and sources for same, is appreciated.
