C.B. Goodrich married to Mary E. Misner

I am a descendant of C.B. Goodrich of Kansas (Lawrence) married to Mary E. Misner.  I am searching for his ancestors and would be grateful for any leads.  He was originally from Sarnia, Ontario, but I am unable to link him to any of the Goodrich's from that area.

Your C. B. Goodrich is Charles Bosworth Goodrich, LWC2965 in the Online Files; you could probably locate the family records faster from the Home page Index by clicking on Misner as Mary Ellen is the only one listed. Charles' ancestors are listed by tracing him back (Harris C., Charles, William, Timothy, Benjamin, William, Ens. William of Wethersfield.)  I have additional information and census sources on this family if you'd like to contact me off-forum and share your own connection to the family. 

This family is also listed in The Goodrich Family in America book, page 337; information about the book is on the Home page.  I do not find any connection to Ontario, however.  On the census records Charles B. consistently lists himself born in Michigan, and his father born in New York.
