The wife of Samuel Griswold Goodrich was Mary Boott, not Booth, and therein lies some fascinating history (the marriage announcement is listed in Index of Marriages in Massachusetts Centinel and Columbian Centinel 1784 to 1840 Boott,Mary,m.S.Griswold Goodrich,of Hartford,Conn.,in Boston,Monday (CC.Jan.4,1826)).
Mary Boott was the daughter of Francis Boott. Francis was the brother of Kirk Boott, Jr. and the son of Kirk Boott.
Kirk, Jr.

The Boott's were an extraordinary family, and I hope that the entry in the genealogy page will be corrected to include them.
