Yeah, I'm the newbie.  I've been doing family research for a while now, but keep coming to a dead end when it comes to my great-grandmother, Genevieve Goodrich.   According to information I have, she was born in Afton, New York in 1864, married George W. Draper in 1888 (in New York state) moved to Minnesota, and then moved back.  She had 5 children, Homer, Jesse, Lynn and 2 girls, Alta and Florence her youngest was born in 1906.   In 1910 they lived in Amenia, New York.

I've tried everything I could possibly think of to no avail.  I did get information from a guy a few years ago that said his great grandfather, Francis Goodrich was the brother of Genevieve and that his parents were a Lucius and Salvinia Hoke  and they are buried in Hillinton Cemetery in Morris, NY.  But I was not able to veryify any of that information.

Would appreciate any assistance you can give.javascript:void(0);

Hello Evan,

I searched our GFA indexed files and some unindexed ones we have, as well. Unfortunately, we do not have any information on your family except some censuses.  George W. Draper and his wife Genevieve, plus Alta, Jesse, Lynn and Homer Draper are all shown in the 1900 US census for Amenia, Dutchess, New York. Florence is shown with her parents George W. Draper and Genevieve in the 1910 Amenia, Dutchess, New York census.  After that George and Genevieve seem to have disappeared.

I will keep this couple on my list of Goodrich family to watch for.  If you should come across additional information, I would appreciate it if you would share it with us.

Sincerely,
Delores
